London-listed minnow Tower Resources has signed a contract with Borr Drilling to hire a jack-up for a long awaited exploration-cum-appraisal probe offshore Cameroon, targeting 35 million barrels of oil.

The rig agreement is vital to boost the company’s goal of securing a partner early next year to help fund the drilling campaign, which was originally planned for 2020 before Covid put paid to that ambition.
