London-listed Energean is locked in critical negotiations with a major contractor over the provision of the subsea hardware for its Katlan gas project offshore Israel.

Israel’s government approved the development plan last month, with production to be fed to the company’s nearby Energean Power floating production, storage and offloading vessel, which is tapping gas and liquids from the Karish field.
