US defense force confirms ship attack as Qatar ‘highly concerned’ over conflict escalation



Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani has said his nation is highly concerned about further escalation in the Middle East, following air strikes on Houthi facilities and disruption to seaborne trade in the region.

Several Qatari liquefied natural gas vessels have been stranded in the Gulf region after the US and UK air attacks on Houthi rebel targets in Yemen last week and the instability that has followed.
