US crude to set new records amidst slower growth, says EIA



The US is set for a surge in production over the next two years with output expected to reach a record high, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

In its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook report, the EIA forecasts US crude production to increase by 290,000 barrels per day, reaching a historic high of 13.21 million bpd in the current year.
