Shell eyes first cargoes from LNG Canada this year



The first cargo from the Shell-led LNG Canada project in British Columbia looks primed to head to markets in 2024, according to chief executive Wael Sawan.

Previously, the supermajor has held firmly to the line that the 14 million tonnes per annum liquefaction facility at Kitimat in the western Canadian province would only start-up “in the middle of this decade”.
