Brazil’s Petrobras has issued a tender aimed at contracting 15 land rigs to carry out mainly intervention activities at ageing fields in mature onshore basins.

Industry sources told Upstream that Petrobras invited local contractors to submit commercial bids on 8 February.

Petrobras has split the tender into two packages, being Lot A for a total of 12 rigs and Lot B for three rigs.
