LNG carrier charterers rethink Red Sea routing amid ongoing attacks



Liquefied natural gas carriers are continuing to move through the Red Sea, but some appear to be rerouting to avoid the area amid ongoing attacks against merchant shipping linked to the ongoing Israeli-Hamas conflict.

A number of LNG carriers have been reportedly changing course after announcements from the world’s largest liners earlier this week. Oil majors BP and Equinor gave similar instructions to their fleet.
