Norway’s Subsea7 has landed a key offshore extension deal from supermajor BP to perform subsea support services across the UK operator’s North Sea assets.

Subsea7 on Tuesday confirmed the award, and said the extended framework deal involves “subsea construction, inspection, repair and maintenance services (IRM)” in the North Sea region.

“This is the agreement’s latest extension since the original frame agreement began in 1998,” it said.
