UK supermajor BP expects the Calypso natural gas development offshore Trinidad & Tobago to get the green light when a final investment decision on the deep-water field is made at the end of 2025, according to a Reuters report.

BP holds a 30% working interest at Calypso, which is operated by Australia’s Woodside Energy, and estimated to hold 3.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
