BP has signed a three-year contract with deep-water services and intervention specialist DeepTech to secure rig support remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services for the West Nile Delta development offshore Egypt.

The agreement, encompassing an option for further extension, will see BP charter two work-class ROVs dedicated to bolstering drilling, completion and subsea activities. The value of this contract was not divulged.
