Yinson’s Angola agreement with Azule extended

Malaysian floater supplier Yinson has been given an extra month by Azule Energy to finalise an early engineering deal on a floating production, storage and offloading vessel for the major’s Agogo project offshore Angola.

Early last month, Azule — the Eni-BP joint venture — and Yinson signed an agreement for the contractor to carry out preliminary works on the deep-water FPSO to be installed in Block 15/06.

At the same time, the two parties agreed an operations and maintenance services contract for the FPSO.
