This year’s Malaysia licensing round — MBR 2023 — being launched live now by Petronas’ Malaysian Petroleum Management in Kuala Lumpur, comprises 10 exploration blocks across four basins and two Discovered Resource Opportunities.

Up for grabs this year are exploration blocks PM 342, PM 417, PM 428, PM 341, PM 443 and PM 445 and the Chenang Cluster DRO offshore Peninsular Malaysia; exploration blocks SK 350, SK 510 and 5E offshore Sarawak and exploration block SB 403 and the Bambazon Cluster DRO offshore Sabah.
